GENE PEDERSEN 300 BRED HEIFERS

32 Black Heifers bred to a 70 lb birth weight pure white shorthorn bull so should have blue babies.
16 Tan or White Heifers bred to a red angus 78 lb birth weight bull.
The rest approximately 250 head half are red and the other half are black, some bbf, rbf, all bred to black angus low birth weight heifer bulls, will start calving around April 1st. All were vaccinated with 8 way and 5 way with booster shots, all were treated with safeguard deworming mineral at the end of August.

19 Gelbvieh Bred Cows Reds, 2 Blacks, Bred to Gelbvieh or Shorthorn Bulls, bulls out June 1st pulled August 29, Full health program from AgriVet in Airdrie, Quiet & Home Raised, ages 6 to 10 years old, all but 2 head are home raised, handled quietly. Cows were pasture exposed to a 90lb BW Gelbvieh bull from June 1-29, then covered by a 87 lb BW Shorthorn cleanup bull from June 29 – August 26. Both bulls are calving ease bulls. Health herd fully vaccinated with Covexin Plus and Cattle Master Gold, dewormed regularly with a pour-on wormer, been wintered on swath grazing, respect an electric fence, low maintenance and hardy.
