Consignment Machinery Sales

Rosehill Auction Service at Olds Auction Mart in Olds, Alberta has been successfully conducting in yard consignment auctions for decades now. Our sales have grown into one of Alberta’s largest auction sales, hosting them in a Timed Online Bidding format, expanding the market and finding fair market value on sale prices. We host five consignment sales a year selling everything from farm and heavy equipment, vehicles, RVs, trailers, and almost everything in between. 

2026 Auction Dates:

• April 13-16 Accepting Vehicles, Machinery, Livestock Equipment and Lumber February 25. Small Miscellaneous Accepting March 11.
• June 15-18
• Aug 10-13
• Sep 21-24
• Dec TBD

Consignment cheques are ready for pickup two weeks after the sale closing date, we keep them in the office for a week for pickup and then they get mail out.

Items not accepted

Tires must have 75% tread, no household items/furniture, no used windows, miscellaneous items will be taken at our discretion.

How to Consign

The best way to consign your items is to bring them to our yard. From here we can proceed in the office with necessary paperwork, pictures, and other due diligence.

Commission Scale

Depending on the value of your consignment, we charge a relevant commission rate (Commission rate charged on individual items not on total amount sold). Please see below.
